The campus wireless (W@SP) network (laptops, wireless devices) will undergo maintenance on February, 15 2011 at 22:30 (10:30PM), window to last approximately 1 (one) hour. Brief network service interruptions can be expected during the window.
The following web services will be unavailable from 22:30 (10:30pm) to midnight; blogs.potsdam.edu, directory.potsdam.edu, and ip.potsdam.edu. The maintenance window will enable necessary system maintenance to be carried out.
The scheduled maintenance on Moodle has been successfully completed. Moodle should now be available.
Tonight from 22:00 (10 pm) to midnight Moodle will be briefly unavailable to faciliate system maintenance.
A critical component of networking electronics that services the wireless network experienced a system fault and required a reboot. All wireless services should be functioning normally at this point.
A core piece of networking electronics experienced a system fault and had to be rebooted. Service on the W@SP network should once again be functioning normally.
A network problem in the main campus data center affected storage critical to a number of campus systems. The problem has now been rectified and all affected systems are back online.
The errors related to course content file interactions should be resolved at this point.
Blackboard is currently experiencing problems related to disk usage for course content. Attempts to manipulate course content may result in errors. Technicians are aware of the problem and working to rectify it.
