[RESOLVED] Helios Outage
Helios went down around 6am. Unfortunately our monitoring system went down shortly before that, failing to alert about the problem. All clear.

The maintenance on the Blackboard course content volume has been successfully completed. All Blackboard services should now be available.
Phones should be working normally.
Incoming calls are still affected. Out going calls are working in a limited fashion. The vendor continues to work on the issue and hopes to have it resolved later this afternoon.
Due to hardware failure all incoming calls to campus are not being completed. The vendor has been notified and is en route.
Critical network components will be taken offline tonight around 10:00pm for maintenance. This will result in loss of data connectivity to most SUNY Potsdam host systems, as well as Internet and R&E Network access. This window may be moved up if equipment instability persists.
Helios required a reboot to rectify a storage area network problem.
Maintenance is complete. KeyServer and ftp.potsdam.edu services should now be available.
The following services are temporarily unavailable due to emergency maintenance: KeyServer, ftp.potsdam.edu. Notice will be posted when these services are again available.
As a result of the datacenter cooling problems this morning, some storage area network hardware experienced problems. This left data volumes critical to the operation of BearPAWS, Helios, and E-mail in an inconsistent state. It is believed these services are once again fully-operational.
