Maintenance work caused a segmentation between network components isolating 1/3 of basement Crumb ports from the others. Problem isolated and rectified. All clear.
With the exception of the LTEC WAP, all Crumb wireless access points have been offline for about 15 minutes. This is being looked into.
Helios share are back online.
Helios shares will be going offline at 9PM for file system maintenance. They will be offline for up to a few hours.
The Blackboard application will be restarted tonight at 10 pm in order to rectify an application-level anomaly. Users should not be negatively affected by the restart, as existing user sessions should persist across the restart. It is important to note that while existing sessions will persist, any requests made during the few seconds of down time will result in connection errors.
The campus mail server experienced a software fault and required a reboot.
The affected mail volume is back online, and all mail is now flowing freely. The backlog of queued mail should clear out shortly.
Most likely due to power anomalies two nights ago, one of the mail volumes on the campus mail server requires maintenance. Some users will not be able to check mail during the maintenance. No new mail will be delivered, but will be queued for later delivery when maintenance is complete.
Due to a power anomaly in the main campus data center, some services are currently offline. These include BearPAWS, Banner, and HRWeb. No ETA for problem resolution.
