[RESOLVED] Mac access to Helios
It was reported that users’ Helios Home Directories were not auto-mounting at user login. The problem has been rectified and Home Directory should appear on the user desktop after login again.
It was reported that users’ Helios Home Directories were not auto-mounting at user login. The problem has been rectified and Home Directory should appear on the user desktop after login again.
Helios experienced a system anomaly and required a reboot to regain normal operation. All systems should be functioning normally at this time.
Helios experienced a brief system anomaly that required a reboot. At this time all services on Helios should be available.
Telephone services incoming and outgoing were restored at 19:16 on 12/09/09.
The circuits that provide campus incoming/outgoing telephone calls are down. Outgoing calls may work but are very limited. Incoming calls do not work at all. The vendor has been notified and their technicians have been dispatched. We currently have no estimate when the service will be restored. Updates will be posted as we receive them.
The MeetingerMaker calendar service will experience a series of interruptions beginning at 10:00PM, and lasting upwards of an hour.
As of 7:47am telephone services to Lehman, Thatcher and Brainerd Halls are back but will be sporadic. There is also the possibility that services will be up and down until for short and long periods of time as we locate the problem and resolve the cause of these outages.
As of 06:00, Friday November 20, 2009 there is “NO” dial tone to Lehman Hall,Thatcher Hall and Brainerd Hall. We are currently working diligently to restore telephone service to these buildings and will update this page with any changes.
Tonight at 10:00PM, Internet1/Internet2/SUNYnet service will be disrupted for up to 5 minutes as maintenance is performed on border equipment.
As of 10am on 11/10/09 on an off-campus calling has been fully restored.
