As of 15:00 on 01-04-10 all telephone services provided by PAETEC Communications to SUNY Potsdam have been restored.

At approximately 13:40 SUNY Potsdam’s in-coming and out-going telephone services provided by PAETEC Communications went down. PAETEC is aware of the problem and is working to restore service. Please check back later as this site for status updates.
Hardware replaced. All connections believed to be back online.
Admin and W@SP ports in Draime South have been impacted by a hardware failure. New hardware has been provisioned and will be installed ASAP.

Due to the relocation of the voice mail server earlier today all voice mail services are down. We are working to restore these services. We will post any updates when available.
The maintenance window is closed, and all relocated systems are back online.
Our Internet Service Provider is currently experiencing problems, which has been, and may continue to impact Internet access on-campus, as well as off-campus access to on-campus services.
There will be a five hour window this evening 2009-12-22, from 7PM until 12AM, during which most CTS services will experience rolling outages. This is to accommodate the relocation of critical equipment and infrastructure.
TimeWarner technicians will be shutting off Internet, Internet2 and RoadRunner University to perform necessary maintenance shortly. There is no ETC for this.
