We have started the first phase of our Network Upgrade. Services will be offline between 11pm and 5am.
There was a time issue on Helios which caused it to over tax the CPU. The has been fixed and measures have been taken to help prevent it from happening again. All Helios access has been restored.
Helios is currently offline for reasons unknown. We are investigating.
New SSL Certificates have been successfully installed on secure.potsdam.edu and the site restored to service. If you experience difficulty on a secure (SSL-protected) page, please try reloading the page. If this does not solve the problem, please contact the CTS Helpdesk: helpdesk@potsdam.edu / x4444.
On January 7th, from 11pm and lasting until 5am, we will be replacing the most critical portions of our network electronics. All campus hosted services – including SoGo, Moodle, Helios, and telephony – will be affected. Network access on campus will be sporadic at best during this time. Please plan accordingly.
As previously announced, CTS has been moving network printers to a new print server and IP range. Users with difficulty printing should attempt to delete their printer and re-add it using the self-service instructions here: http://www.potsdam.edu/cts/services/printing/index.cfm See the column on the left for your operating system type.
