CTS staff are continuing to work through the evening to restore email functionality. Outgoing email was blocked earlier to keep the College from being placed on blacklists, but this resulted in huge backlogs. Your patience is appreciated as we work to clean up our email queues enough to resume service.
Problems with email spammers are ongoing and worse than thought. To keep the College from being placed on blacklists, outgoing email has been stopped for the time being. We will update this blog as soon as service has been restored.
The phish/scam attack that began Friday is continuing. Email performance is heavily impacted. This is NOT a problem with the authentication systems and is NOT related to the infrastructure upgrade over this last weekend. CTS staff is aware of the problem and working to alleviate it.
Problems with the campus authentication systems delayed resolution of the email problem. Both are now resolved, and email should be flowing normally.
Users should be able to login to systems again. If you continue to have difficulty, please reboot your system. Please report continuing issues to the CTS Helpdesk: x-4444 Leave a message if no one is available to answer your call!
Due to an overnight phish attack, email delivery will be delayed this morning.
Users of the Campus WiFi SUNY_W@SP may have to re-register their devices their network. Please check and verify your settings.
