The CMS & WWW will be unavailable this evening starting at 22:30 (10:30 pm) for approximately an hour and a half to facilitate rearrangment of storage systems.

Tonight at 23:00 (11pm) the CMS & main campus webserver (www.potsdam.edu) will be unavailable for approximately an hour while backend maintenance is performed.

Tonight at 22:00 (10:00pm) the campus blog system will be unavailable for approximately 15 minutes to facilitate a software upgrade.

An overnight phish attack will result in email delays this morning.

Banner/BearPAWS/HR Time Accounting services have been restored.

Banner will be going down for a few minutes while the database server is rebooted.

After a protracted upgrade process requiring numerous intervention from both the vendor and engineers, we are currently left with the following situation. The CMS is up but not allowing authoring. Problems with the upgrade process have also required that we redirect traffic from the main campus website url temporarily to the authoring server.

A system anomaly caused an extended outage of Banner/BearPAWS services. At this time, all systems are returning to normal and normal operation of services should be available.

The CMS will be unavailable on Monday, April 23rd beginning at 08:00 (8 am) and lasting for the majority of the morning/early afternoon while engineers perform an upgrade of the CMS software. An estimated time that this maintenance window will be completed is not available. Similarly, www.potsdam.edu may experience intermittent outages during this period of time.

Tonight at 23:30 (11:30), Moodle will be breifly unavailable (approx. 15 minutes) to faciliate backend system maintenenace.
